Adding weights to your training routine will boost your metabolism, so your body burns calories faster and keeps on burning them even 2 hours after your last training. By adding strength training to your routine your body will become stronger and with a stronger body you loose more weight than you would with a weak cardio body.
When it comes to training with weights, the form and the way you do the exercises is key. If you do the exercises wrong they will not be as effective and you put your physique at risk.
